Welcome to Te Whanau Kotahi
Te Whanau Kotahi– For all families...
We are a Charitable Trust providing the Child Development Service on behalf of the Ministry of Health for the Tauranga/Western Bay of Plenty area. The Trust is governed by a Board of Trustees featuring parents, experts and community representatives.
Our focus is on providing family centred support with our team of therapists predominantly working with children and families in their usual surroundings such as home, park, swimming pool and pre-school. It is our goal to help those with disabilities to lead an ordinary life and be supported to take a full part in their community
The team offer Family Services in the area of Psychology, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Social work and Community Facilitation. In addition we have an administration team to help the effective delivery of the service.
